  Dr. Rene Pulido

  President

  Dr. Rene U. Pulido, a graduate from Jacksonville Mayo Clinic Family Residency Program, opened EMED Primary Care and Walk In Clinic in August of 2010. Dr. Pulido’s family has lived in Jacksonville, Fl since the late 1950’s when his father located to the United States from Cuba. Dr. Rene Pulido attended Assumption grade school and played football for Bishop Kenny H.S. Following the footsteps of his uncle Jesus Pulido, MD, and Alex Pulido, MD, Dr. Rene Pulido and his two brothers, Mario and Danny, attended UACA Costa Rica for Medical School. After graduating from the family medicine program at Jacksonville’s Mayo Clinic he learned the values of team work approach to patient care. After graduating from Mayo he worked in Jacksonville with Solantic Baptist Urgent Care honing his urgent care skills. Dr. Rene Pulido’s educational and practical experiences have led to the development of Emed Multispecialty Group. What Rene enjoys most about his professional accomplishments is being able to appreciate local growth and community support of establishing the Multispecialty Group in the same neighborhood that he grew up in. Many patients are friends and family that he has known since childhood. He gets great pleasure in working with his two younger brothers on a daily basis improving the community where his kids can grow up in.

  Amanda Filosi

  Family Nurse Practitioner

  Amanda Filosi, our resident Family Nurse Practitioner, received her Associate of Science in Nursing from Lake City Community College. Continuing her education at Jacksonville University she earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Amanda furthered her medical path earning a Master of Science in Nursing, graduating from Frontier Nursing University in 2014. Committed to education and nursing, Amanda supported a 21-bed Oncology/hematology and Antepartum/Women services unit for the University of Florida Health. Her responsibilities ranged from unit staffing to the care of high risk pregnant patients. Her experiences in gynecological care and complications has made Amanda the go-to expert for our patient’s concerning all aspects of women’s health. Amanda Filosi has a mission to provide patients with the most up-to-date evidence-based care focusing on quality treatments to improve their body as a whole, which results in an overall improvement in health.
