Mathew Thomas, M.D., is a cardiothoracic and transplant surgeon in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Florida. Dr. Thomas is primarily interested in advancing minimally invasive surgeries of the chest, trachea and esophagus through innovative approaches including robotic surgery, video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) and single incision thoracic surgery.
