• Peter X. Prince

  DVM

  Dr. Peter Prince is a 1986 graduate of the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine, and began practicing in Jacksonville on Monument Road. When he opened Augustine Loretto Animal Clinic in 1989, he was the sole veterinarian, but became a managing partner with both Dr. Eslick and Dr. Rockefeller shortly thereafter. His areas of special interest are internal medicine and surgery, especially orthopedic. He and his wife, Vickie (a Family Practitioner in Mandarin) stay very busy with their four daughters and three cats!.

• Renee Rockefeller

  DVM

  Dr. Rockefeller, who is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, is a 1987 graduate of the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been with our hospital since 1993. Previously, she has worked at small animal and emergency clinics in both Jacksonville and northern Virginia. She and her husband, Paul, enjoy spending time with their daughter, Sloane, and cat, Lily, as well as sailing, camping, and rock-climbing. Dr.Rockefeller volunteers with Patriot Service Dogs. She commits to puppy-training for 2 years, after which time, the lucky dog will then go home to assist a disabled veteran. Her last puppy, Indy, would come to work with her often. Although, it was hard to see him go to new home, it was a rewarding experience for all of us here at the clinic. .

• Melissa Eslick

  DVM

  Dr. Eslick is a 1993 graduate of the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine with a Master's degree in Physiology from Auburn University. She is a native of Jacksonville and has been with the clinic since 1998. Previously, she worked at multi-vet practices in both Jacksonville and Collierville, Tennessee. She stays busy with her huge family of dogs and cats, and her two horses. She and her boyfriend, Ken, enjoy skiing, SCUBA diving, horseback riding, and motorcycle adventures through the countryside.

• Deanna Greer

  DVM

  Dr. Deanna(Dee)Greer is VCA Augustine Loretto's Medical Director. She graduated in 1996 from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has practiced in New York, California, and for the last 11 years in Jacksonville. She finished her specialty degree in 2005, and is a member of ABVP specializing in feline and canine medicine and surgery. Dr. Dee lives in Julington Creek with her family which includes; Her husband Michael, and two sons Michael(7), and Johnathan (10). The family also includes her two dogs (Spencer and Yogi), four cats(Little Moe, Tinkerbell, Pini, Miko), a guinea pig named Crystal, a gerbil, assorted fish, and hermit crabs. Her veterinary special interests include; soft tissue surgery, internal medicine in particular skin disease, behavior medicine, and pocket pets. Dr. Dee's non-veterinary interests include; anything outdoors, baseball(especially the New York Yankees!), traveling, skiing, cross stitching, reading a good mystery novel, and most of all being a mom!.
