I've spent many years representing several of the national captive property and casualty insurance
companies, but representing HealthMarkets makes it possible for me to help and protect many more
people since we are a full-scale brokerage that will have a solution for anyone that needs
assistance since we aren't held captive to just one company and one option.
Finding and working with a company that shares the same values as I have was extremely important to
me. You know when you're working with a HealthMarkets agent that:

So you can get to know me a little better...I grew up just outside of Boston in the town of
Braintree, MA and my parents still live in the same house to this very day. My professional career
began in the golf industry when I graduated from Coastal Carolina University (Conway, SC) with a
bachelors degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Professional Golf Management.
I was elected to the Professional Golfers Association of America shortly after graduation in 2006.
I still keep my professional status active with that organization, but after many years of dedicated
service to the golf industry (as a club professional and then as a Tournament Operations Specialist
for the PGA TOUR), I decided to make a career change into the world of insurance.
Why?
Because when I moved to Florida in 2009, I quickly realized how uninformed and under-protected most
people are with their personal insurance here. I simply wanted to make a difference and protect my
fellow friends, neighbors, and relatives so they won't fall victim to avoidable financially
devastating events, such as not having proper health insurance, supplemental coverage or life
insurance. Plus, I felt like there was an overall need for someone that could simplify these
complicated items, as well as Medicare, and explain them to people in easy-to-understand ways. If
