    MD, MPH

    Since he was a teenager, Dr. Tolu Abikoye has loved caring for others. He was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare by his father, who is a surgeon. He explains that he was taught “to care for the whole person, mind, and body.” His favorite part of his profession is connecting with patients and working towards their health goals. “I enjoy listening to patients to learn what bothers them most about their health,” he explains. If he could change anything about healthcare today, he would “ensure patients get more access to their physicians.” When Dr. Abikoye is not caring for patients, he can be found playing sports. He especially enjoys cross-country skiing, rollerblading, golfing, and biking.

    APRN

    Janell Miller, a nurse practitioner, loves making a difference in people’s lives. “Providing a listening ear, a smile, and kind words can change a person’s perspective, especially when it comes to their health,” she says. Janell Miller values communication and trust in her practice. Seeing patients’ health improve is her favorite part of her job. “I want every potential patient to know most and foremost that I am here for them, they are not just a number, they will be treated with respect, dignity, and they are family,” she says. In her spare time, Janell Miller can be found reading on the beach or spending time with her family. They especially enjoy hiking and watching movies. She also loves playing and watching basketball.
